Emerging live-music promoters based in the Liverpool city region can now apply for Promoter+, a 12-month development programme from MusicFutures launched in partnership with Skiddle and Liverpool Philharmonic.
Designed for promoters from under-represented backgrounds and those championing underserved genres, communities and cultures, the programme will provide practical support to help participants develop their events and explore new approaches to live music.
Successful applicants will receive up to £4,500 in funding to deliver a minimum of three events. They’ll also gain access to bootcamps, roundtables, one-to-one mentoring, peer learning and partner-led sessions. Workspace and/or venue access will also be available.
Promoter+ is aimed at those looking to build a community through organising live events, and those interested in developing fresh ideas around areas including ticketing, fan engagement and audience development.
Find out more and apply via the MusicFutures Promoter+ Programme page.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday 1st September.
Applicants with questions can also register to join the Promoter+ webinar, taking place on Thursday 6th August from 1 pm until 2 pm.
