Friday 27th November sees Black Friday’s return. Black Friday has become a staple of the retail year in the UK in recent years. The upcoming weekend will see thousands of limited special offers become available, across the internet. For 2020, our Black Friday weekend offers are based around #letsparty. We all need some positive vibes right now, so let’s look forward to music events returning soon. Black Friday offers could include Buy One Get One Free, Group Discounts, Reduced Full Prices, or a throwback to Earlybird pricing. Offer tickets will need to be set up as new tickets, and can’t be applied to existing setups.

In support of Black Friday weekend we’ll be going full throttle with marketing support.

  • Any event with an offer and the #letsparty hashtag on the short description of their event listing, will be included in a dedicated landing page on Skiddle.com.
  • Also these events will be included in a dedicated App section.
  • Social Media campaign across Skiddle platforms.
  • National App Push Notification, directing customers to the Black Friday offers section.

Don’t forget to include #letsparty on your event short description to be included!

Ticket Setup on Skiddle for Black Friday

You’ll need to set your offer tickets up in advance, and schedule them to go live on Friday 27th November. The timings of your offer being available are entirely up to you. We recommend a 9am onsale on Friday 27th (ending on the evening of Monday 30th), when our marketing support will cease. If you need help setting up group ticket offers, check out our guide here. For further help or information please contact your Skiddle Account Manager, or our dedicated Account Support team at promoters@skiddle.com.

#WeAreViable is a movement created to bring together and unite all corners of the entertainment industry to safeguard its future. Most importantly, they’re finding ways to protect one of the oldest and most successful UK industries. Where events & gigs can be safe they should be allowed to go ahead. Where unviable, there should be a clear roadmap forward, financial assistance and support should be readily available. Follow #WeAreViable and the crucial work they’re doing.
