A brand new venue has opened in Bristol, headed up by celebrated festival promoters AMAAD.
The Prospect Building, which holds a capacity of 5,000 people, opened its doors to the public on 28th September, hosting trailblazing Welsh electronic duo Overmono as part of their Pure Devotion tour.
Located at 45 Feeder Road in St. Phillips, Bristol, The Prospect Building will bring an expertly curated programme of house, techno and everything in between from international and local acts alike.
October 12th will see the venue host an Oktoberfest special, complete with unique street vendors and fancy dress opportunities. On the 13th, the venue will be the destination for Second Life Markets, a vintage fashion market highlighting local sellers and giving people a chance to sell on pre-loved items.

Speaking to the BBC, Will Harold, director of AMAAD said: “It’s a time of crisis for culture. We want to bring people together and celebrate culture.”
He added: “Music is a key part of what we do but we’ll also have family days, food events – it’s going to be a cultural hub.”
“Venues are closing, it’s a challenge. We are trying a new way to approach it by doing different things in one place.”
The news comes as a boost for the city’s live scene, as the developers behind the new YTL Arena haven’t set a date for building work to begin.
World-renowned electronic artist Floating Points will bring his live show to The Prospect Building on 26th October.
