Earlier this year, we announced the return of our Skiddle Promoter Fund bursary scheme, this time aimed at event organisers operating in the Republic of Ireland. Open to both aspiring and established promoters, the fund is designed to lower barriers to entry and support organisers delivering high-quality events across music, culture and community spaces.
Successful applicants gain financial backing to bring their events to life, helping strengthen grassroots culture across the country. They also receive tailored ticketing and promotional support from Skiddle to give their events the best possible chance of succeeding.
This year’s successful applicants reflect the creativity and range of Ireland’s independent scene, with events spanning live music, festivals, theatre, club nights and more – all built with the ambition to give audiences something new to experience.
Receivers of the 2026 promoter fund, chosen independently by Skiddle, include:
Nasty Events, SBS Music, 360 Nights, Dublin Disco All Dayer, Injector Soundsystem, Bingo n Beats, Motion Events, Nocturnal, Underground Ovation, Lee Promotions, Red Line Events, Ar Ais Arís, Smithfield Creatives, Spraoi Mór, Division Galway, Into The Void, Hysteria Productions, Equinox, Croí na Gaeilge, The Next Big Thing, Full Moon Rising and Festival Mná.
Skiddle developed this year’s fund in collaboration with Give Us The Night, the campaign group advocating for the improvement and sustainability of nightlife culture in Ireland. Give Us The Night’s local insight helped shape the initiative around the realities facing Irish promoters, ensuring the fund responds to the needs of the people building events on the ground.
Jamie Scahil, Head of Marketing at Skiddle, said:
“Our promoter fund is about investing in the future of live events at a grassroots level. We know that some of the most exciting ideas come from independent promoters, but getting those ideas off the ground isn’t always easy, especially in today’s landscape.”
He continued:
“Launching the fund in the Republic of Ireland is also a key step in our wider ambitions to grow Skiddle in new territories. Ireland has a rich and diverse events culture, and working alongside Give Us The Night allowed us to shape something that genuinely supports that scene.”
