What do Mario Kart, Santa, touring and ticketing have in common?

Not a lot, really, if anything at all. But this October, Skiddle will act as the missing link; the bridge bringing them together at two of the industry’s most exciting events.

Across the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of October, the Skiddle team will be in attendance at The Showman’s Show in Thatcham and Un-Convention Music Conference in Manchester.

We’ll be providing guests with hands-on demo’s of the Skiddle Promotion Centre’s free-to-use tools and services, while also looking into the realities of touring, ticketing and affordability, and much more.

The Showman’s Show: 21st – 22nd October

Heading to The Showman’s Show? Be sure to pay us a visit on Avenue C at the Newbury Showground.

We’ll be showing off our powerful event listing platform, the Skiddle Promotion Centre and some of our latest free-to-use tools, including Session-Based Ticketing, which gives organisers a simple, more efficient way to sell tickets across events which require multiple times of entry.

And because nobody needs another standard, run-of-the-mill exhibition stand experience, we’re putting the feature to work in two slightly less conventional ways.

Un-Convention: 23rd October

The following day, Skiddle heads to Band on the Wall for the 15th anniversary of Manchester’s annual Un-Convention Music Conference.

From 9:45 am to 10:45 am, you’ll find us on our Skiddle presents panel, discussing touring, ticketing & artist power in the current climate. Join us for a practical conversation on planning dates and pricing shows with fans in mind while still being able to cover costs.

BBC 6 Music legend Chris Hawkins will host a panel discussion, featuring:

• Simon Caitling of Mandy, Indiana and The White Hotel
• George Holmes from This Feeling
• Meg Gavan, Skiddle’s in-house live music expert
