Brighton Music Conference (BMC), the UK’s premier electronic music and networking event, has unveiled the full programme of pod parties and events ahead of it’s 11th edition later this month, and we’re extremely excited to announce our involvement.

Taking place from Wednesday 22nd May to Friday 24th May, within the iconic Brighton i360 complex and across multiple venues across the city, this highly anticipated and award-winning conference, of which Skiddle is a partner in 2024, will unite top industry professionals and offer a rich program of engaging panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities.

With socialising and connection a vital aspect of BMC’s ethos, there are, as you might expect, plenty of opportunities to meet like-minded industry professionals at the many exclusive networking parties held within some of Brighton’s best-loved venues, including the legendary pod parties at BMC, held at a knee-trembling 450 feet above the city in the Brighton i360 Pod observation tower.

4 exclusive Pod networking events will take place up in the clouds at this year’s fast-approaching event, supported by Funktion One and AlphaTheta. Soundtracking each event, hosts will include Bushwacka! and Hospital Records on Thursday 23rd May, with Erol Alkan presented by Inflyte and, for the grand finale, the Fabric reunion, with Terry Francis, Howie B and Keith Reily going back-to-back, on Friday 24th May.

Kicking-off this year’s proceedings, the official BMC Welcome Party will commandeer the Tempest Inn, one of Brighton’s best-loved beach bars. Hosted by AFEM, the event will allow attendees to network whilst enjoying panoramic sea views with complimentary canapes and drinks from 7 pm. Mr C, Mutiny, Amber Jolene (Live PA), Queen B and Sarah France will be on hand to provide the vibes.

Following each day of the conference, attendees will be spoilt to an extensive lineup of live music and networking events at various renowned venues across Brighton. Just some of the many esteemed names set to appear across the three-day event include DJs Carly Wilford, Sarah Monument, Brandon Block, Ifeoluwa, A Guy Called Gerald, and Crazy P Soundsystem, to name just a few.

Respected trade and membership organisations including the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA), Shesaid.so, the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) and the Association of Independent Music (AIM) will also be present at BMC 2024.

Already got your tickets to BMC 2024? Be sure to attend our “Just The Ticket” panel on Thursday 23rd May at 3 pm.

Members of the Skiddle team, including our own Head of Festival & Partnerships, Duncan King, and Senior Account Manager, Siala Stathopoylos, will join special guests, George Flemming, CEO of Save Our Scene, Maya D, event marketing manager at Hospital Records, and Carly Heath, night time economy advisor to Bristol City Council, to discuss evolving ticket-buying habits and their impact on clubs and festivals across the UK.
