January has been a busy old month for us here at Skiddle, setting the stage for what’s set to be another record-breaking year. We’re arguably seeing more action than football fans at present, especially in this unusually quiet January transfer window, with new signings coming in, left, right and centre.

Football-related nonsense aside, it gives great pleasure to welcome yet another outstanding event brand to the Skiddle fold. Please join us in giving a warm reception to the masterminds behind the UK’s first-ever roller-skate sanctuary, Rhythm Retreat.

A groundbreaking 2-day event, Rhythm Retreat provides an unparalleled experience. Situated near Statfold Country Park, renowned for its distinctive family attractions and it’s railway museum, home to an extensive locomotive collection, the event unfolds in the expansive indoor arena of Statfold Barn Farm, one of central England’s largest.

Open to skaters of all levels, the unique weekend-long adventure seamlessly blends the thrill of roller skating with the charm of outdoor camping. Set against scenic landscapes and under the twinkling stars, participants can immerse themselves in performances and workshops led by some of the world’s most skilled skaters, whilst also having the option to take advantage of morning yoga sessions and live music in the evenings.
