The esteemed music conference, Wide Days, returns to Scotland this April for its fourteenth edition.
From the 13th-14th of April, music industry professionals will descend on Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms. There’ll be talks on how the industry can work with the government and how live events are funded now that event numbers have reached pre-pandemic levels.
Elsewhere, music licencing company PPL will host a talk. Titled ‘Get Played, Get Paid! Making Money From Your Music’, the panel will bring together experts who will pass on knowledge to working musicians about how to get that all-important revenue.
Attendees will also get to view talks about syncing, advertising and more across the two days, with a host of industry leaders delivering the gems they’ve learnt on their journey.

Our very own Matt Sadowski will be in attendance across the weekend. Matt is part of our Business Development Team; he’ll be available to chat all things Skiddle should you be interested.
The Wide Days showcase takes place from the 13th-15th of April. Here, you’ll be able to catch some of the best music Scotland has to offer.
Venues like La Belle Angele, Sneaky Pete’s and The Bongo Club are the destination. Looking for some fresh acts to play at your next event? Discover them here.
Conferences are great places to network and get some inspiration. Why not do that in Scotland next week?
