Welcome to Skiddle: BOXPARK Liverpool

We’re buzzing to welcome BOXPARK Liverpool to Skiddle — a bold new addition to the Baltic Triangle, one of the UK’s most exciting cultural neighbourhoods. As the first BOXPARK to launch outside of London, this is more than just another opening. It’s a statement of intent, rooted in local community, creativity and unforgettable experiences.

In 2011, BOXPARK launched in Shoreditch with a game-changing concept — using shipping containers to create the world’s first pop-up space for dining, retail and events. Fast forward to now, and BOXPARK is a nationally recognised brand. Known for its Eat. Drink. Play. philosophy, it’s built a reputation for buzzing, community-led venues that bring people together through food, music and culture.
Each location reflects the area it’s in. That’s why the move to Liverpool makes perfect sense.

BOXPARK Liverpool is housed in the historic Canning Hall, right in the heart of the Baltic Triangle — an area that already pulses with grassroots music, creativity and nightlife. The venue offers 21,000 square feet of integrated dining and event space, with eight independent traders representing some of the best food the city has to offer. It also boasts a 5,500 square foot outdoor terrace, perfect for al fresco events, summer socials, and family-friendly activations.

But it’s what happens inside that really brings the place to life. The team at BOXPARK Liverpool run a busy, diverse events programme that changes every week. Think bottomless brunches, drag bingo, salsa socials, weekly quiz nights, and live screenings of the biggest matches. There’s even slap-fighting — yes, that’s a thing — and yes, it’s boss.

To celebrate their first year in Liverpool, BOXPARK is doing what it does best: throwing a massive party. The “We Are 01” weekender kicks off on the first weekend of May with three very different, but equally brilliant, events.

The celebrations kick off on Friday with We Are 01: Drag Bingo. Hosted by the one and only Pam Sandwich (a.k.a. Married at First Sight’s Thomas Hartley), this is no ordinary bingo night. Expect all-out chaos, camp energy and big prizes — with Bailey J Mills and Lill joining the party on stage. It’s free to play, and there’s £500 worth of prizes up for grabs, including a £300 cash jackpot. Get your drinks in, grab your dabber, and settle in for a Friday night full of laughs, lip-syncs and unexpected moments.

Then on Saturday, it’s time to get loose with We Are 01: The House & Disco Party. Expect the incredible House Gospel Choir, high-energy DJs, £3 Coors pints, glitter bars, party bags and pick & mix stations — all set to a soundtrack of feel-good disco and house anthems. Add in bouncy castles, and you’ve got all the ingredients for a huge night.

Finally, Sunday is all about families with We Are 01: For The Fam. In partnership with Our Kids Social, BOXPARK Liverpool is bringing a full day of hands-on fun — from circus skills and arts and crafts, to face painting, silent discos and stage games. There’s everything from party hats to Liverpool’s biggest game of pass the parcel, plus cake (of course) and plenty of surprises throughout the day. And yes, £3 pints are still very much on the menu.

This is exactly what BOXPARK does so well. They create spaces where people want to be — where food, culture, and connection all come together under one roof.
You can check out everything that’s coming up at BOXPARK Liverpool on their venue page right here. Whether you’re planning your own event or looking to get involved in their growing calendar, this is the moment to jump in.

We’re buzzing for this one— welcome to the family, BOXPARK Liverpool.
