Spotify has unveiled its latest tool aimed at helping artists and promoters reach fans in the moments that matter. Dubbed Concerts Near You, the new personalised playlist connects Spotify listeners with live events happening nearby, offering event organisers a fresh opportunity to drive more ticket sales and reach fans who are already engaged with their artists.
Updated every Wednesday, Concerts Near You uses Spotify’s listener data to curate 30 tracks from artists performing in the user’s local area. But it’s more than just a playlist – each track comes with expandable links giving users access to full event listings and direct ticket links, making the journey from discovery to purchase to experience smoother than ever.
For event organisers, the benefits are clear: this tool surfaces events to an engaged audience already listening to the artists featured on the line-up of your event. The playlist is also designed for easy sharing, encouraging social planning and helping to build momentum for upcoming shows through word of mouth.

Charlie Hellman, Vice President, Global Head of Music Product at Spotify, commented on thew rollout of ‘Concerts Near You’, saying:
“There’s nothing worse than realising that your favourite artist played your town last week. Concerts Near You solves that… It gives artists a powerful new way of selling more tickets and filling venues with the audiences who love their music most.”
The introduction follows Spotify’s continued investment in live events, providing more ways for fans to connect with artists and for event organisers to turn online engagement into real-world attendance. As the streaming giant continues to blur the line between music discovery and ticket discovery, tools like Concerts Near You will play a bigger role in the buying journey.
