Next week, one of the music industry’s most important annual gatherings returns. The Night Time Economy Summit 2026 takes over Liverpool’s Blackstock Market for two days of big conversations, bold ideas and practical solutions shaping the future of nightlife culture.

Organised by the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) – the UK trade body representing and advocating for the night-time economy – the summit brings together event professionals, policymakers and industry leaders from across the globe. Expect open discussion, shared insight and a collective focus on tackling the biggest challenges facing the sector today.

So, what’s on the agenda?

Panel discussions and spotlight interviews

Across both days, attendees can dive into a packed programme of thought-provoking panels and interviews. Night-time economy leaders from Vienna, Amsterdam, New York and the Middle East will take to the stage alongside representatives from UK Music, UK Hospitality, CAMRA, Black Lives in Music and PRS for Music, as well as MPs, venue operators, publishers, record labels and radio personalities.

Topics span everything from AI and technology in festivals and live events to the protection of grassroots spaces and the future of nightlife infrastructure.

Still want more? The spotlight interviews raise the bar. On day one, Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order) sits down with BBC 6 Music’s Chris Hawkins to reflect on five decades of music and the sound of the North. Sam Divine and Todd Terry share their journeys through house music and club culture, while Liverpool favourites Red Rum Club celebrate their city’s rich after-hours legacy.

The full Night Time Economy Summit programme is available below.
