Skiddle has officially been unveiled as the headline sponsor of the LIVE Awards — the first major move in a newly announced three-year strategic partnership with LIVE (Live Music Industry Venues & Entertainment); a landmark moment that cements our long-term commitment to the UK’s live music sector.
Through this extended partnership, Skiddle is doubling down on support for the people, platforms, and places that power the UK’s events industry. That means meaningful collaborations across the areas that matter to you as promoters – from research and advocacy to regional industry events and ongoing dialogue through the LIVE Talks programme.
What This Means for the Live Music Industry
This partnership is a significant milestone for both Skiddle and the wider events community. The LIVE Awards – returning to The Troxy in London this December – brings together over 600 professionals from across the UK live music sector, shining a light on those who’ve made a true impact.
But that’s just the beginning. Our new partnership with LIVE includes:
- Research Collaboration: Skiddle will support LIVE’s pioneering audience and industry research, including the sector-leading LIVE Insights programme.
- LIVE Talks: We’ll continue to champion conversations around sustainability, wellbeing and equality, diversity & inclusion.
- Event Activations: Skiddle and LIVE will co-host key regional events, giving grassroots promoters and organisers a bigger voice and deeper connections across the sector.
Commenting on the partnership, CEO of LIVE, Jon Collins, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Skiddle’s return as our headline sponsor for the LIVE Awards. As a long-term partner of LIVE, this agreement is not just about one night of celebration; it is a shared commitment to the future of live music. Skiddle’s support across our research, events, and industry engagement will help strengthen our work on behalf of the whole sector.”
Supporting Inclusion Through Charity Partnership
As part of this year’s commitment to making live music more inclusive and accessible, the LIVE Awards 2025 has confirmed Attitude is Everything as its official charity partner.
A longstanding partner of LIVE, Attitude is Everything connects disabled people with the music and live events industries to improve access together. Their work ensures that live experiences are not only open, but actively welcoming and enjoyable for everyone, whether as audience members, artists, employees, performers or volunteers.
“We’re really excited to be named the official charity partner for the LIVE Awards 2025,” said Paul Hawkins, Interim Managing Director at Attitude is Everything.
“We have collaborated with LIVE previously and have admired their drive for building inclusive spaces in the live music and events industry. This partnership reflects our shared vision to make the industry a more welcoming and accessible space for all.”
This announcement sits alongside Skiddle and LIVE’s joint focus on equality, diversity and inclusion through LIVE Talks and other regional activations – a shared recognition that real change comes from platforming underrepresented voices and removing systemic barriers.
Looking Ahead
At Skiddle, we believe that partnerships like this not only elevate our brand but also elevate the entire industry. We’re proud to be walking alongside LIVE in championing resilience, innovation, and accessibility in UK events.
As the countdown to the 2025 LIVE Awards begins, we’re excited to keep working behind the scenes and on the ground to support the people making live music thrive.
