New Spotify Integration Helps Skiddle Promoters Sell More Tickets

We’re excited to share that our latest tech integration with Spotify is now live, bringing even greater opportunities for event organisers to connect with music fans and drive ticket sales.

Thanks to this development, tickets to Skiddle-listed events are now accessible directly from artist profiles on Spotify via the “Events” tab. As fans listen, they can easily discover nearby gigs, club nights, and festivals, and click through to purchase tickets with ease.

The integration coincides perfectly with Spotify’s recently launched personalised playlist feature, Concerts Near You, which further boosts event discovery. Updated weekly based on user listening habits and location, the playlist showcases songs from artists performing nearby – alongside full event details and ticket links. With Skiddle listings included, your events will be placed right in front of an audience already engaged and ready to book.

For promoters, this marks a powerful new sales channel. The integration places your events in front of highly targeted audiences on one of the world’s most popular music streaming platforms. The result? Greater visibility, higher conversion rates, and stronger connections with the fans most likely to attend your events. Simply make sure the performing artists are correctly tagged on your listing — the integration will take care of the rest.

Commenting on the integration, Skiddle’s Head of Festivals & Partnerships, Duncan King, said:

“Our team has put a lot of work into bringing the Spotify integration to life, so it’s fantastic to see it now live. This collaboration opens up an exciting new marketing channel for our partner promoters, seamlessly linking Skiddle’s intuitive platform with highly engaged music fans on Spotify.

“This is just the beginning – the first of many tech partnerships designed to help our promoters sell more tickets while making it easier than ever for fans to discover and book the gigs they love. We’re already integrated with Songkick and Bandsintown, and we’re continuing to expand our network of integrations to ensure events listed on Skiddle are visible in more places, to more people, at the right time.”

Jon Ostrow, Head of BD and Live Music at Spotify, also remarked on the integration, saying:

“We envision a world where no Spotify listener misses a concert because they didn’t know it was happening. Our partnership with Skiddle brings us closer to realising that vision by making sure live music fans in the UK can discover more local concerts on Spotify across surfaces like our brand new Concerts Near You playlist.”

Whether you’re promoting a local gig or a major festival, this new integration helps you reach Spotify’s global user base and turn listeners into loyal attendees.

👉 List your event on Skiddle today and tap into the power of Spotify’s discovery ecosystem.
