Following on from the overwhelming successful of new features Waiting List, Re:Sell and Cool:Off we’re proud to introduce another exciting new feature that will help make the ticketing process easier for promoters.
In order to get the most out of their on-sale announcements, promoters put in a lot of time and effort to create a buzz around an event by teasing venues and lineups on social media, directing customers toward your event page. Then ticket releases are accompanied by huge pushes on social networks to drive customers back to buy the tickets. However, this relies on people seeing your posts or tweets, which is getting harder due to how many social networks displays these. This is where Remind Me comes in.
Remind Me, launched today, gives customers the opportunity to receive a reminder via email and text message the evening before, then again 15 minutes before the tickets go on sale, making it virtually impossible for customers to miss out on your event on sale.
How to get Remind Me onto your event
Remind me will show automatically on your events, as long as you have added tickets but they are yet to go on sale.
With Remind Me, we’re helping real fans get their hands on tickets, with less stress and frustration. We’re also helping event promoters sell their tickets quicker, by notifying customers across various channels and reducing purchase friction.
