List your event
So, you’re signed up and ready to go. What’s next? Well, the first step to selling tickets online is to list your event on The Promotion Centre.
When you get to The Promotion Centre dashboard, you’ll see the screen below. Head to the panel on the left-hand side, click ‘Events’ and click ‘Add New Event’.

Then, you’ll see the ‘Basic Info’ screen, where you can choose from the option that best suits your event.

Next, you can name your event, write a short description, select your venue and choose your dates.

Set additional information
Next up is the ‘Additional Information’ section. Here, you can add a long description, letting potential attendees know who will be appearing at your event and what your event is all about. You’ve got a lot of space, so add as much detail as you can.

Then, you can set the minimum age, tag the artists appearing at your event, tag the genres and add images.

Create tickets
You can’t sell tickets to an event online without…tickets.
But you knew that. Anyway, enough of our terrible jokes, in this section of the listing process, you can set the name of your ticket, set the allocation, choose the price and customise the ticket in a few different ways. See the images below for an example.

Check everything is correct and make your event live
In the final section of the listing process, you can set the visibility of your event.
You’ll be able to choose from three options: ‘Public’, ‘Private’ and ‘Private Passworded’. Then, you can check over each section to ensure everything is right before you hit ‘Publish Now’.
If you don’t want to set your event to go live straight away, no problem. Simply click ‘Keep In Draft’ or ‘Embargo’, depending on the option you feel is best.

That sounds great! But remind me, where can I sign up to The Promotion Centre?
