We know how demanding festival season can be – from production logistics and artist wrangling to on-the-day execution. With everything going on, marketing your listings might not always get the attention it deserves.

That’s where Skiddle’s 2025 Festival Campaign – Escape the Ordinary – comes in. We act as an extension of your marketing team, putting your festival in front of people who are eagerly planning their next big experience and ready to buy tickets. It’s all about maximising visibility, building anticipation, and driving ticket sales for your event.

Read on to see how our 2025 festival campaign will support your listings.

Festival Discovery on Social

We’ve launched our Festival campaign with a bold, nostalgic video: a hero piece that captures the excitement of the season. Promoted across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat, it’s helping us put your festival in front of new, relevant audiences with strong visual appeal and shareability.

Paid Media and OOH Campaigns

We’re backing the campaign with eye-catching paid media across Google and various other key social platforms. Expect bright, attention-grabbing creatives and precise targeting, including retargeted ads that keep your listings front-of-mind for users who’ve already shown interest. Plus, we’re supporting visibility through digital out-of-Home (OOH) ads across key UK cities, taking your event offline and on-street.

Discussing the strategy behind our festival campaign, our Head of Campaigns, Ric Brooks, said:

“We took a research and creative-driven approach to the campaign, with the hero video inspired by research that showed the majority of us attend festivals as a form of escapism, to ‘Escape the real-world.’

“We wanted the campaign to reach Skiddle customers on all platforms and campaign placements include Instagram, Snapchat, Tiktok, Youtube and digital out-of-home.

“The campaign will be getting a big push and will be live across the entirety of the festival season to ensure the best visibility possible.”

Festival-Focused Blog Content & Editorial Listings

We’ve refreshed and re-optimised our biggest content pieces and created two new pieces: our UK Festival and European Festival Guide. We’ve also produced several in-depth editorial features, all with links directly to festival listings. These guides rank highly in search, improving visibility for your festival and helping funnel organic traffic straight to your page on Skiddle (Check out the Skiddle News page).

Direct Marketing That Drives Conversion

Our database of 500,000+ opted-in email subscribers and 2.9M app users means we can deliver the right messaging to the right audience. Through segmented emails, push notifications and SMS campaigns, your festival listings are included in personalised, high-performing communications throughout the season.

Tools and Insight to Help You Succeed

Beyond promotion, we’re providing real value through tools and insights. Our latest Festival Report is packed with actionable data and trends, while product updates like our new Guestlist Manager make running your event smoother. Everything is designed to help you focus on what matters – delivering an unforgettable experience.
