BM Park Live Goes 100% Veggie for 2025

BM Park Live, the team behind Junction 2 Festival and Paradise In The City, has announced that all food offerings at its 2025 events will be entirely vegetarian or vegan. The decision is the latest in a series of steps taken to support its ambitious NetZero by 2025 strategy, part of a wider goal to create carbon-positive festivals.

Working alongside food trader specialists Event Merch, BM Park Live has curated diverse, globally inspired menus designed to satisfy festivalgoers without compromising on flavour. From protein-packed poke bowls to indulgent chick’n burgers, the menu overhaul proves that sustainable choices don’t need to be bland or restrictive.

This shift builds on previous years’ progress, which saw the removal of red meat from menus and a fully vegan crew catering operation in 2024. The 2025 festivals will also continue using low-emission energy sources and battery-powered alternatives to diesel generators, while offsetting any unavoidable emissions through a carbon removal scheme.

BM Park Live now joins a small but growing group of pioneering promoters – including Massive Attack and Shambala Festival – committed to reducing the environmental impact of live events. No private jets will be permitted for artists in 2025, and a £1.75 audience travel levy will continue to fund emissions offsets through partnerships with onboard:earth and the Rainforest Trust.

Will Harold, Director at BM Park Live, commented:

“The move to a 100% vegetarian menu is part of our broader sustainability efforts and commitment to reducing carbon emissions. Having seen the food options that our wonderful group of traders are going to provide, I can confidently say that these will be the tastiest festivals we’ve ever worked on!”

For event organisers, BM Park Live’s bold stance signals a continued shift in industry expectations around sustainability and a reminder that good food and good ethics can go hand in hand.
