Sheffield, the UK’s fourth-largest city, boasts a vibrant nightlife scene, fueled by a diverse array of venues and a thriving student population. Among these venues is Network Sheffield, one of the city’s newest and most popular live music spots, and we’re thrilled to welcome this dynamic venue and its fantastic team to Skiddle!
A collaboration between Music Junkee, a store dealing in musical instruments, and DINA, a grassroots arts centre and venue, Network Sheffield opened back in 2019. Built on “the creativity, ambition and unity which define the city”, the venue is known for fostering local, national and international talent, offering everything from indie to punk, hip hop and reggae to music fans situated right across Yorkshire.
Filling a void left by the closure of beloved Sheffield venues like the infamous Boardwalk, Network’s prime location is a major draw for promoters both local and from afar. Enhancing its appeal even more, Network is equipped with top-tier event production gear, including a custom-built PA system, advanced lighting rig, and a versatile stage setup that can transform the venue into three distinct spaces: a 1,000-capacity main room, a 500-capacity room, and a 150-capacity room.
