Skiddle Promoter Fund Awards £15,000 in Grants to Scottish Event Organisers

For those of you here readers with a keen eye for all things Skiddle, you may have recently spied the most recent edition of our sought-after promoter bursary, AKA the “Skiddle Promoter Fund”, doing the rounds.

For those of you not so in the know, the Skiddle Promoter Fund was devised to offer financial support to emerging UK event organisers. Each budding event professional who applies for the fund has a chance of winning a grant of up to £1000 to help bring their unique concepts to life, simply by entering a few details into a short form.

Aligning with our “More Than A Ticket” ethos, the Skiddle Promoter Fund underscores our unwavering dedication to the live events sector and the thriving culture that sustains it. In addition to financial grants, successful candidates also benefit from invaluable guidance from our experienced in-house team, covering a spectrum of topics such as marketing strategies and data insights, further solidifying our commitment to nurturing the future of UK music.

Throughout November 2023, we opened applications for what was the second round of funding of the year, with applications closing on December 31st. As is usually the case with our popular funding initiative, the response was overwhelming, with hundreds of submissions pouring in from aspiring promoters across the region.

Following much meticulous research and deliberation, final decisions have been made and a group of lucky candidates selected to each receive a share of the £15,000 in grants which have now been awarded.
