Aspiring promoters have until 10th July 2025 to apply for Round 2 of the PRS Early Career Promoter Fund, a crucial opportunity offering grants of up to £3,500 to support the next generation of live music organisers.
The fund is designed to empower early career promoters to book and promote live shows, nurture local music scenes, engage audiences at the grassroots level and build a sustainable career in the live music sector.
Successful applicants can use the funding to cover a wide range of costs, including:
- Booking, programming, and promoting gigs, club nights, tours, and showcases
- Venue hire, artist/DJ fees, crew and production costs, and general admin
- Capacity-building activities such as mentoring, workshops, and masterclasses
- Initiatives aimed at programming diverse artists, reaching new audiences, and developing skills

PRS also provides detailed guidance to help applicants strengthen their submissions, including resources on YouTube and dedicated application advice pages. Funding decisions are made within six to eight weeks of the application deadline.
Round 3 opens on 11th July and runs until 4th September, offering another chance for early career promoters to apply.
