Festival pilgrims, rejoice. After recent uncertainty, Lindisfarne Festival has officially been saved and is set to go ahead this August, celebrating its milestone 10th year on the Northumberland coast.
Key to its revival is a new ownership group – also behind Hardwick Festival – and the return of founder Conleth Maenpaa as Festival Director.
Conleth, who led the event from its inception in 2015 until 2023, expressed his excitement:
“I’m absolutely delighted to be back. Lindisfarne Festival is in my heart… The event has been saved, it’s in very safe hands, and we’ve got an exciting future ahead of us.”
Tickets, Line-Up & What’s Next
- All previously purchased tickets and camping passes remain valid, and a new wave of tickets will go on sale soon.
- Official dates are Thursday 28th August to Sunday 31st August 2025 at Beal Farm, overlooking Holy Island.
- A first look at the 10th‑anniversary line-up promises a mix of established and emerging talent, leaning into the festival’s reputation for an eclectic, multi-genre experience.
A Boost for the Region and the Festival Scene
Lindisfarne Festival’s revival is not just a win for ticket holders, it’s a welcome boost for the North East’s cultural calendar and independent festival scene as a whole. Known for its coastal setting, grassroots spirit, and diverse programming, the event has built a loyal community over the past decade.
The festival’s return also brings reassurance to local suppliers, artists, and vendors who rely on the event each year, while injecting energy into the regional tourism economy during the late summer season.
As the countdown to August begins, organisers, artists, and fans alike can now look forward to celebrating ten years of music, connection, and coastal magic – exactly what the UK festival scene needs in 2025.
