Ibiza Bans Street Advertising and Ticket Selling

In pretty big news for the White Isle, San Antonio’s City Council has ruled that both ticket selling and street advertising will from now on be banned, essentially ending the ‘dynamic advertising’ that’s become part and parcel of the Ibiza experience.

The decision has come after years of relentless complaints from local businesses and tourists who often felt harassed by aggressive advertising from street workers. Not only that, but there was also the environmental impact of thousands of dropped leaflets lining the streets.
