FOMO Fest, Suffolk’s newest summertime celebration of live music, has been announced the winner of Best New Festival 2025 at the East Anglian Festival Network awards (EAFN).

The event, which also won a year-long membership to the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) and a promotional support package worth £5,000 in 2025, courtesy of Skiddle, made its debut in Stowmarket last August.

Bringing big names and even bigger vibes to the gorgeous grounds of the Food Museum, situated ideally in the centre of the historic market town, the family-friendly event delivered two stages of live music stocked with reputable names, covering a mix of genres, including indie, alternative, EDM and more. The grounds of the event also boasted a funfair and attractions for kids, as well as a handful of licensed bars and numerous enticing stalls manned by street food vendors and traders from the local area.

With headline acts like Example, The Ordinary Boys and Republica already locked in for this year’s edition, taking place on Saturday 5th September, and the award-winning dance event brand, Raver Tots, set to host an afternoon of family-friendly raving, we expect to see FOMO Fest making the shortlist of even more awards across the year to come.
