The UK’s leading electronic music and networking event, Brighton Music Conference, has announced its first wave of speakers and industry guests for its 2026 edition, taking place from Wednesday 20th to Saturday 23rd May 2026 across Brighton’s iconic seafront venues.

Returning to the city’s beachfront and historic pier setting, BMC 2026 will once again deliver a packed programme of talks, workshops and networking sessions designed to connect artists, labels, promoters and industry professionals from across the global electronic music scene.

First speakers announced

Leading the initial lineup are some of the most recognisable names in electronic music and broadcasting, including Kenny Dope (Masters at Work), Anja Schneider, Phil Hartnoll, Simon Dunmore, Dave Seaman, Arielle Free, Anne Savage, Beardyman and Jess Bays. They are joined by influential artists and tastemakers including Huxley, Just Her, Jumpin Jack Frost, Tom Middleton and legendary UK duo Wildblood & Queenie.

Across the conference, more than 100 speakers have been confirmed in the first announcement, spanning DJs, producers, label heads, legal experts and industry specialists.

Industry partners and global support

This year’s event continues to draw support from across the electronic music ecosystem, with partners including Beatport, AFEM, Armada Music, Hospital Records, pointblank and Technics, among others.

Skiddle also returns as a key industry partner, supporting programming across the conference’s business and education-focused content.

Theatres, workshops and wellbeing programme

BMC’s expanded format will once again feature dedicated spaces across Brighton, including the return of the Workshop Theatre in collaboration with pointblank, hosting sessions on social media strategy, DJ techniques, production and immersive audio.

A strengthened wellbeing programme will also return, covering topics such as burnout, neurodiversity, mental health and work-life balance within the music industry, alongside daily yoga and soundbath sessions.

The DJ Producer Theatre will explore key industry themes, including artist development, radio, label relations and getting signed, with dedicated sessions celebrating milestones such as 30 years of Hospital Records.

And at Theatre 4, at The Carousel, we’ll be taking charge of proceedings, with panel discussions focusing on the business side of music and specifically the growth of electronic music communities in regions across the UK.

““A space for learning, networking and inspiration””

Billy Mauseth, Founder of Brighton Music Conference.

BMC founder Billy Mauseth said the event continues to focus on accessibility and value for attendees:

“BMC prides itself on being one of the most welcoming and friendly music industry events to attend, with an affordable ticket price. Last year, we supported more independent venues and expanded our conference programme. We always work hard to create a space where everyone can come together to learn, be inspired, network and enjoy amazing music and DJ sets.”

With its blend of industry insight, live performance and networking opportunities, BMC 2026 is set to once again position Brighton as a key hub for electronic music culture this May.
