Skiddle vs See Tickets: Which ticketing platform is right for your event?

Choosing the right ticketing platform isn’t about finding the most convenient option. It’s about getting your event in front of the right people, getting the support you need when you need it, and, most importantly, picking a platform where you know you’ll sell tickets.

While See Tickets is a well-known, old-school ticketing platform that mainly focuses on stadium events and giant weekend festivals, Skiddle is built for everyday promoters who want full control. Whether you run weekly club nights, local live gigs, comedy shows, or independent festivals, Skiddle gives you everything you need to pack your venues and make your events as profitable as possible.

UK organisers' #1 choice

Skiddle

Skiddle combines straightforward ticketing tools with powerful promotion to make sure your events are a success. We put your brand front and centre, giving you full access to your sales data and flexible ways to get paid early so you can keep growing your brand on your own terms.

Additionally, our app, push notifications, email alerts, and personalised event recommendations work together to push your listings in front of active ticket buyers looking for their next day or night out.

See Tickets

See Tickets is one of the oldest ticketing companies in the UK, dealing mainly with large-scale mainstream events.

Because they spend most of their time looking after huge stadium events, smaller or growing promoters can easily get overlooked. On their site, your local gig or independent festival could sit right next to a massive arena tour and get completely overshadowed. Plus, because they use an old-school system, they hold onto all your ticket money and customer information until after your event is completely finished.

Trusted by organisers across the UK

"We have been working with Skiddle for many years now. The promotion centre is really easy to use, and the support and promotion that we get from our Account Manager is of the highest standard."

The promoter cash flow gap

The biggest difference between See Tickets and Skiddle comes down to your cash flow. See Tickets holds onto every single penny you make until after your show is completely over. If you are running a festival and need to pay for artist deposits, venue hire, or social media ads while your event is still on sale, having your cash locked up is a nightmare.

Skiddle puts your money back where it belongs – in your bank account. We let you withdraw your ticket money while tickets are still selling. This keeps your cash moving right when you need it most, so you can pay your bills and grow your event without running out of money.
