Terms & Conditions
1. Overview
Skiddle is funding a minimum of twenty (20) full annual memberships to the Association of Independent Festivals (“AIF”). The details of what is included in an AIF annual membership can be found at: https://www.aiforg.com/join-festival.
2. Eligibility & Application Requirements
- Applicants must agree to list a minimum ticket allocation with Skiddle for their 2026 festival as follows:
- Festivals with a capacity of 5,000 or below: a minimum of 100 tickets.
- Festivals with a capacity above 5,000: a minimum of 200 tickets.
- Festivals with a capacity of 5,000 or below: a minimum of 100 tickets.
- Once you have applied, one of our festival team will contact you to begin the onboarding process. Applicants already working with Skiddle as their primary ticketing provider will be contacted by Skiddle’s Festival Coordinator in due course.
3. Membership Term
- Each funded membership is valid for one (1) twelve (12) month period commencing in September 2025.
- At the end of the twelve months, membership renewal is at the discretion of the festival and AIF. Renewal is not funded by Skiddle.
4. Selection Process
- Winners will be selected during the week commencing Monday 20th October 2025 by a panel consisting of representatives from AIF and Skiddle.
- Successful applicants will be notified by email.
- Skiddle will introduce the winning festivals directly to the AIF membership team for onboarding.
5. Marketing & Publicity Requirements
By accepting a funded membership, each winning festival agrees to:
- Allow their festival name to be included in marketing communications by both Skiddle and AIF.
- Provide a quote to Skiddle for use in online marketing activity.
- Permit Skiddle to run paid media activity promoting the allocated ticket allowance.
6. General
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Skiddle reserves the right to amend or withdraw this initiative at its sole discretion.
- In the event of any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and other promotional materials, these Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
Data Sharing Agreement
By entering this competition you acknowledge and agree that your personal data may be shared between Skiddle, and the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) for the purposes of:
- Administering ticket sales and entry management.
- Providing customer service and event-related communications.
- Collecting industry statistics, research, and insights to support the independent festival sector.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Allowing Skiddle and the AIF to contact you directly with relevant information, updates, or opportunities connected to events and the independent festival sector.
We will only share the minimum data necessary for these purposes, and your data will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Each party will take appropriate measures to protect your personal data and will not sell or misuse it. Where AIF uses aggregated/anonymised data for research and reporting, no individual will be personally identifiable.
